The Guarantee, in Plain English
Every Disaster Awareness Kit purchase is covered by a thirty-day, no-questions-asked refund guarantee. If for any reason you decide the kit was not what you needed — whether you read it and disagreed with the protocols, never opened the file, changed your mind, or simply want your money back — reply to your purchase receipt within thirty days of the purchase date and you will be refunded in full.
How to Request a Refund
Reply to the purchase receipt email you received from our checkout processor (Gumroad) within thirty days of the original purchase date. Include the order number from the receipt and the email address used at checkout. That is the entire process. There is no form to fill out, no survey to complete, no reason required.
Refunds are processed through Gumroad's standard refund flow and typically appear on your original payment method within five to ten business days, depending on your bank.
What Happens to the PDF
The downloaded PDF is yours to keep. We do not require you to delete the file, return it, or prove that you stopped using it. The honor system applies and we trust our readers.
What This Policy Does Not Cover
- Refund requests submitted more than thirty days after the original purchase date
- Refunds requested for purchases made by someone other than the account holder (the request must come from the email address used at checkout)
- Chargebacks filed directly with your bank or card issuer without first requesting a refund through the receipt email — these are processed by Gumroad's chargeback workflow and may be declined if the standard refund window was bypassed
Honest Disclosure
Gumroad processes the actual refund on our behalf. Their standard processing fee on the original transaction is not always returned to us, which means refund requests cost us money. We accept that cost because we would rather have a reader who feels free to ask for a refund than a reader who feels stuck with something they did not want. If you want your money back, we want you to have it back.
